Coffee
If you were my cup of coffee
I’d sip gently,
lip just touching
the rim, tasting
the first firey heat
the hot moist wet
of you
then drinking fully
from the cup
the savoury aroma
filling my senses
your caffeine shock
awareness in my brain.
And when the cup
is empty, it’s me
